From Passiveaggressivenotes.com

this one's my fav.

robert in sacramentro found this one on the wall of his apartment building’s laundry room. says robert: “on the surface, i don’t think this sign is too bad. the underlining of “time” and the “thanks a lot!!” at the end push it over the top for me.”

says tyler in boston: “i had a roommate who stopped talking to me after the first month and only communicated via whiteboard.”

Time to revive Blogsummer '05

Photographic evidence that Carrottop still goes out. AND can surround himself with women. Is it really that easy?

dead air.

Wtf? Blogging used to be so easy, maybe because I was crazy then. Any topic at random would come come out of my fingers and I'd type away, not caring if I was making sense or not. Now I can't think of anything to write about. Obama? Covered in Piposphere. The Mike Theory? Tommy. Critical Mass? Will. Elvis? No one wants to hear about Elvis. Actually, maybe I will do an Elvis blog. Not that we're publishing anything that groundbreaking, but I have learned my fair share of Elvis knowledge while editing these three books. Oh okay, here were go: my 6 month review was supposed to be today. I got two emails about it, then talked to my direct report and he's like, Ah, we'll get around to it in the next few weeks. And here I am in my lime green blazer today, ready to defend the amount of time I've already taken off halfway through the new year. (Really, it's kind of ridiculous.) I've heard from others that you don't really discuss your performance so I'm not all that terrified of a review, but like I said, I have taken a few too many days off.

I'd like to look forward to doing something this weekend. In fact, I'd like to have a pool party at my house; I think I still have a slip 'n' slide somewhere. Anybody in? Also upcoming: Summerfest 07 in Milwaukee. If anybody would like to go, we could stay at my lakehouse. I'm pretty sure Def Leppard will be there, but I'm really going for Heart. I mean, they won't be at my lakehouse, but if things go well at the concert, you never know. Never underestimate the power of memorized lyrics and tit-flashing.

Also. I realize I've delved into Katie-territory here in blogging about work. What if they bring that up at my review? A girl in another department got reprimanded for her internet time, I could be next!

Oh whatevs.
