just can't wait anymore for axl?

Or his cornrows? Or his love handles? Or his package? Well, now you don't have to. According to Blabbermouth.net (or .com, I can't remember, but this isn't a term paper, so screw sources), three songs from Chinese Democracy have been leaked on the internet. Axl claims, as he has claimed every year for the past ten, that "people will hear the music this year."

"A full-length version of another track recorded during the sessions for GUNS N' ROSES' much-anticipated "Chinese Democracy" album has been leaked — this time of the song "There Was A Time", or "T.W.A.T." The track, which has been rumored to exist for some time within the GUNS N' ROSES fan community, is the third new GN'R song to make its way online in two days — joiing the full-length leak of the song "I.R.S." and a one-minute, 20-second clip of a track called "Better". GUNS N' ROSES' management has reportedly been asking webmasters to delete the files from their sites, and to also remove any links to them, in an effort to stop their spread. It's unknown where the leaks originated. Although GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has yet to officially comment on the leaks, Lisa Reed, wife of longtime GN'R member Dizzy Reed, reportedly let her feelings be known in an online post. "I just don't understand it," she wrote with regards to the leak. "If people claim to love the band and Axl so much, why on earth would you do something you know will piss them off? Especially when all signs point to it getting closer and closer. It's like shaking all your Christmas presents on the 23rd of December and figuring out what they are. No surprise and you ruined the fun for the giver. I just as much as anyone want this record to come out. But BE PATIENT!'" Axl Rose has said fans would get to hear new music this year, and former lead guitarist Slash has been telling interviewers that "Chinese Democracy" will be out in March, but no official release date has been announced."

"Ruined the fun for the giver"? When the gift is "T.W.A.T."? Lisa, I think people are sick of waiting fucking ten years for music, and that's why there have been internet leaks. Plus, it's horrifying when Axl does make a rare public appearance, like singing karaoke at a party for Korn, and he looks atrocious. We long for the old days...

-->check those things out! his pumps say AXL. I'd love to get some hightops like that.

first day--almost no blogging

So I started my new career as an editorial assistant, and I spent the majority of the day reading. And that's what I get paid to do! The first manuscript I read was about the TV show "Lost" and I've only seen a couple episodes, but now I'm even more interested in it. I wasn't so lucky with the second manuscript: here's an excerpt from "365 Ways to Raise Great Kids", the type of book my mom used to pull out from this secret drawer during dinnertime and we would go around and have to answer questions from it. Kind of like "Loaded Questions for Developmentally Sound Children." It's called the Circle dance:

Here's a way to start the day that will put everyone in a good mood! Get the family in a circle and hold hands. Start walking running, hopping or tiptoeing around in a circle and chant one of the following sentences at a time. The sentences should be things about your family that you all believe: we are loving, we are kind, we are smart, we are fun, we get along, we like to help, we are a team. The oldest person starts by saying one of these sentences, then everyone says it a few times together. Anyone can change the chant when they want, just make sure everyone says each chosen chant at least three times.

Uh, really. Imagine your own family participating in this activity. Can't you feel the family bonds growing stronger with each tiptoe? I'm still reading through it; unfortunately there's a suggestion for each day of the year, and I'm only around March. And this girl came back here to invite me for drinks and totally caught me falling asleep. Eek. You can tell I'm the new girl around here because I'm not used to any of their acronyms yet. Each time I write BF, I laugh to myself at buttfuck, not boldface. And I can't imagine telling anyone that here. Maybe after drinks, but I'll have to see what kind of senses of humor they have. I'm guessing they're not the buttfuck type.
